Nails by Nat ("I") am committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data I collect from you, or that you provide to me, will be processed by me. Please read the following carefully to understand my views and practices regarding your personal data and how I will treat it.
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act"), the data controller is Nails by Nat, 15 Elliston House, Wellington Street, London SE18 6QF.
Information I collect from you
I may collect and process the following data about you, information you give me about you during our consultations verbally, by you filling in a client record card, from forms you complete on my website or by corresponding with me by phone, e-mail, social media or otherwise. The information you give me may include your name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number and payment details. As well as but not limited to lifestyle information, allergies, medical conditions, medication, previous nail treatments and photographs.
I will use this information:

to keep accurate records in line with my insurance requirements

in case a client has an accident, a reaction or over exposure whilst at my property

I will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) if you have previously consented to this. You can opt out of receiving any of this information at any time by verbal request or in writing to nat@nailsbynatwoolwich.co.uk.
Disclosure of your information
I will not share your information with any third parties that I do not use unless I am under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation. I will with your permission store your details on my iZettle payment software and on Schedul my salon management software and Wix my website management software. iZettle will provide you with a privacy policy once you confirm you are a customer. Shedul will only store your data in line with this privacy policy.
Your Personal Data
The data that I collect from you will not be physically stored outside of Nails by Nat, 15 Elliston House, Wellington Street, London SE18 6QF unless I notify you otherwise. Your information if you have given consent will be stored electronically on my Square payment platform. I will also store your details on Wix my website and booking platform but this is for record keeping purposes. I will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to me is stored in a locked file and electronically in a password protected file on my laptop with internet security. Any photographs will be stored in my Google photos account and on my social media. Your personal data will be kept for 7 years following your last treatment with me. If you are under 18 years your personal data will be kept for 7 years after you turn 18 years old. When personal data is destroyed, hard copies will be shredded and digital copies will be deleted.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although I will do my best to protect your personal data, I cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted over social media or otherwise; any transmission is at your own risk. Once I have received your information, I will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
Your rights
You have the right to ask me not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. I will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if I intend to use your data for such purposes. You can also exercise the right to stop this at any time by contacting me at nat@nailsbynatwoolwich.co.uk.
Access to information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. You can request to access the personal data I hold on you by putting your request in writing to
nat@nailsbynatwoolwich.co.uk. I will respond to your request within 30 days. You can also request for the personal data I hold on you to be deleted - this will be considered and responded to within 30 days, again this request must be put in writing to nat@nailsbynatwoolwich.co.uk.
Changes to our privacy policy
If I make any changes to this privacy policy I will notify you of these changes by email or sms.
